This vast ceiling installation is a composition of densely hung strands that anchor thousands of figures clad in colors resembling a Doppler reading stacked atop one another,” said Do Ho Suh, adding that the artwork is a “physical realization of existence, suggesting strength in the presence of numerous individuals. The work is an attempt to decipher the boundaries between a single identity and a larger group, and how the two conditions coexist.

Water Drop Pillars by Markus Reugels
In his continued experiments with water photography Markus Reugels has developed a method of releasing precisely timed water drops that collide to form pillar-like structures. The setup involves three perfectly synchronized valves and three individual gel-covered flashes that all fire in sequence with the camera’s shutter.

A Cathedral Made from 55,000 LED Lights
The Luminarie De Cagna is an imposing cathedral-like structure that was recently on display at the 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium. The festival was host to almost 30 exhibitions including plenty of 3D projection mapping, fields of luminous flowers, and a glowing phone booth aquarium, however with 55,000 LEDs and towering 28 meters high the Luminarie De Cagna seems to have stolen the show.
